It's that time of year when our instinct to clean house takes control of our thoughts. Well it does for me, not sure about you. One thing I have to say is, it should take control of your thoughts because cleaning your office or home allows you to clean out the depressive cobwebs that have taken control of your desires, thoughts and business sense. Those cobwebs prevent you from being productive and creative. They also don't allow your brain to function the way it should function. So let's clean out those cobwebs and jump start the Spring with a new outlook and bring harmony into your life.
The Chinese have practiced Feng Shui for thousands of years because they believe that the flow of energy has principles of achieving harmony within your living and working environments are one of the keys to your success. They are so right in their thinking that when you care for the flow of energy in your life, you become successful because you follow those basic principles of taking care of the harmony in your life. So let's get to spring cleaning and bringing harmony into your life and business.
First thing you need to do is declutter your surroundings. That means remove all the clutter on table tops, desktops or coffee tables. Either put the stuff away, or get rid of it once and for all. The Chinese believe that the more clutter you have in your life and environment, the more you block your Chi and that blockage can not only hinder your ability to achieve your goals and earn you a viable living, but it can also block the healing process in your body. Being someone who practices holistic medicine for the last 40 years, I can agree with that practice. I allowed my chi to be blocked and allowed negativity to enter my life and my health took a nose dive. Since I've eraced the negativity and allowed my chi to be unblocked, my health has turned around. Although getting old hinders your ability to not be sick, so do what you can when you're young so that when you get older, your chi is unblocked and your life is in full harmony with your feng shui.
