What is Inspiration?

What is Inspiration?

What is inspiration? What are the benefits of inspiration? How does it work? Can inspiration help you get further inspiration? Let’s explore all these questions.

Many times your life can seem out of control which causes your brain to shut down and not create new ideas or find solutions to various problems. It can also crush your creative side which helps you create artwork, write new stories, or simply feel inspired to be creative at all.

Your motivation to accomplish things in life comes from being inspired to be creative so we as individuals need to find new ways to become inspired so we can plan accordingly and strategize how and when it can strike once again.

Let’s start with your work environment. Is your workspace designed to inspire you to be creative? Are your art supplies handy and available to work with? Is the work area designed to encourage your creativity or is it designed to crush your creativity? If you’ve answered any of these questions with a no, then it’s time to redesign your workspace.

So, what does inspiration mean? Well, it can mean many things. It could mean the spontaneous urge to do something creative or important or that eureka moment when things just fall into place and everything becomes obvious to your endeavor.  Inspiration comes from ancient mythology that derives from divine force or content that creates a mystical force that strikes an original idea or thought that becomes reality for a person.

Come back next week and we will discover how to help you get inspired.
