How's your New Year's Resolutions Holding Up? Are they worth keeping?

Every New Year we make a vow to ourselves that we're going to make the new year a success. Success is dependent on a list of things we need to accomplish. Unfortunately, that list is usually never done because we never stick to the list. That list might have to lose weight, stop smoking, stop drinking, save more money, buy more lottery tickets, go on a vacation, and so many more stupid concepts to achieve throughout the year.

We never list what our dreams are, so therefore, they never come to light. Because we never put those dreams into action they get left behind and never become a reality. That goes for your dreams of a successful business,  novel, screenplay, or patent that invention you've had designed on your desk. Since you didn't achieve your list thus far this year, let's hit the reset button and make a new list.

Take a leap of faith and get out of your comfort zone in order to achieve your dreams and goals. If you need to take a class, why not do the research as to what school holds those classes and how you get signed up for them. Do you know how to start a business? If not, find a mentor or a Life Coach to help you start that business soon.

Stop Procrastinating! Procrastination is your biggest obstacle and that obstacle is YOU! So what is holding you back? Let me give you a suggestion. Go to the Microsoft store on your computer/laptop and find the software called TO DO List and make sure it is up and running on your system. I use this software every day. If I have an idea or a task I need to accomplish, I create a list and add the idea to that list, and I give it a due date. When you boot up your system every day, you'll have a reminder of what needs to be done that day. Don't just push the items on your to-do list to next week, give yourself the time to accomplish those items every day and you will find that you're no longer procrastinating, instead, you are being productive and slowly reaching your goals.

Don't allow distractions to eat up your time, be in control of your schedule and make things happen that will eventually help you to achieve your goals. Hone in your skills and learn something new every day. If you don't want to invest in yourself, do you think anyone else will want to invest in you, your ideas, and eventually your business? Stop killing your dreams by allowing others and everyday distractions from preventing you from achieving your ultimate goals of being independent and a successful business owner. Get up off your duff and make things happen, because if you don't no one else will. Prove the doubters in your life wrong, and become the success you've been saying you want to be in life. Good luck.
