7 Habits of Positive People
We can’t wait for others to provide us with a positive
attitude, it’s up to us to have one first. Never think that you must manifest
happiness and positivity for you to be happy. Life stresses are just
stress that can be avoided if you are organized and self-confident in life. Those
around you should be positive-thinking people and not negative-thinking. If you
sense negativity in someone it’s time to cut them loose from your close group
of supporters and acquaintances.
To help you be more positive and understand how to
identify positive people, I’m going to give you some tips on how to keep
positive people in your inner circle.
1) Never
consider confusing the term quitting as letting go.
Never cling to beliefs, ideas, or people that are considered unhealthy to your well-being and personal sanity. Always trust your judgment to cut loose any negative forces within your life and surrounding group of close confidants. Especially personal intimate relationships. Set limits on how long to keep someone around who is negative in your life. If they don’t change their ways, cut them loose and move on with life.
2) Positive
people make life a good day.
Organized and productive individuals are considered positive people. Those who consider being organized or productive in life are not positive, in fact, they are usually unorganized and slopping in their work habits. These are the type of people you don’t want in your life because they will bring you down at every turn. If you ask for advice on a new project, they will be the ones to cut you off from your thoughts and discourage you from pursuing your dreams.
3) The
past stays in the past for a positive person.
4) Positive people are grateful people.
Positive people see the pot of gold in front of them with new sights, new places, new opportunities, and new things to be grateful for.
5) Fear
isn’t allowed in the life of a positive person.
My father used to teach me that fear is the manifestation of allowing others to control you and your efforts. Therefore, never allow fear to take hold of your thoughts or well-being because that allows others to control your efforts to succeed. It also allows you to wallow in life events or the mistakes you make along the way so instead of allowing fear to take hold, be confident in your efforts and smile at the humor when it presents itself to you. Now this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use caution when making decisions, you should, but never allow the fear to take hold of your will and determination.
6) Positive people are optimistic people.
Positive people are also optimistic people who believe they can do anything not what they cannot do in life. There is never a perfect answer to any problem they encounter, instead, they believe there is a solution to the problem if one thinks hard enough about the situation. Old solutions might not work but a positive and optimistic person will find any problem a challenge and come up with a new solution to solve the problem at hand.
7) Positive
people are also good communicators.
Confident communication is a great way to connect with people in everyday life. Being assertive is one thing, but being open to new possibilities is another when communicating. There is no judgment anger or expressions of disdain when a positive person communicates with another, they express themselves with tact, finesse, and polite manners.
